In order to provide any type of customer support in today's business market, companies must have individuals who possess basic computer skills. Being able to install software, setup printers and configure e-mail is just a portion of what will be learned in this module. Most computer problems today could be avoided by providing inexpensive preventive maintenance before problems arise. Here our students learn how to use these types of programs to keep problems to a minimum. If you fail to use preventive maintenance, you will risk the loss of valuable company data. Having well-trained, responsible technicians will provide companies with a knowledge and security of maintaining their valuable data. The idea is to keep your computers systems running at optimum performance. You must therefore have individuals who can provide this type of system maintenance. Students in this module will have the training and skills required to provide computer system support on all levels. Installation and use of many Windows based operating systems are also covered in depth. What sets our students apart from others is our hands on, practical teaching approach. Students not see the systems working they work on the systems. As a matter of fact all of our modules consist of at least 50% practical hands on work. So Bay State Students do practice what we teach.
