HDTV Calibration Course at Bay State School of Technology

HDTV Calibration course at the Bay State School of Technology provide the student with the necessary skills and education to analyze, test and calibrate High Definition Televisions.

HDTV Calibration Training at the Bay State School of Technology is an important module of the newly added Digital Age Technology Course that provides the student with the necessary skills and education to analyze, test and calibrate High Definition Televisions and Surround Sound Audio Equipment. Today's home entertainment wants and needs are changing as fast as the technology that drives this market, high definition television is coming upon us at a fast and furious pace. To prove this, one only has to look in the television or electronics section of their local department store.

Flat panel TV monitors dominate the shelves leaving the clunky glass tube televisions in the clearance section. In the near future as soon as the year 2008, glass tubes will not be manufactured. The TV signal we receive today will be owned as far as we are told by private industry. This means that your local stations and cable broadcasters will be sending out only HDTV signals. A solid training in HDTV calibration is one way to keep up with the quickly changing technology of this industry.

To continue using your existing television the purchase of a HDTV converter will be necessary. Otherwise you will need a HDTV to truly enjoy the new signals provided. Knowing how to adjust and calibrate these flat panel displays will be a highly valued skill in the near future. Experts feel that the large companies such as Best Buy and Circuit City already recognize this. That makes the student trained in this field highly valued.

In addition to HDTV Calibration, Audio System Set up and Calibration will also be taught. Knowing how to adjust today's high-performance audio entertainment systems for maximum performance will round out the students' skills in this rapidly growing Home Theater set-up and installation market.
